National, state and local government has declared physical therapy an essential component of health care during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Our clinic is now open and ready to serve those in need.

We are taking extensive preventative measures, based on CDC guidelines, to protect patients and staff who enter our clinic.

If you do not feel comfortable coming to our clinic for care, we will gladly reschedule your appointment for a later date. In addition, we offer Telehealth PT services so that you can easily connect with one of our clinicians through easy to use, HIPPA compliant online platforms that work with most computers and mobile devices.

Our procedural guidelines to keep all us safe include:

We are proud to say that more than ten years ago, way  before COVID19 required physical distancing, our clinic has always set the standard of  only giving one on one patient care. To even better protect all of us, we only book one on one treatment sessions  to better space out our patients.

Our 2500 square foot facility will easily allow 6 foot physical distancing between patients, and our organizational standard of intentionally not employing technicians or aides and only having licensed physical therapists working with patients  will allow us to keep ample space and prevent crowding.

We are happy for all patients and our PT colleagues that  (by necessity) from now on  should have a chance to experience  the same PT experience we offer in whichever clinic they choose to go. The safety risks of high volume/congestion to both patients and staff now require this type of one on one, non cramped space PT practice.

.All  patients are screened at the time of their appointment confirmation phone call and before entering our clinic. This process includes taking patients’ temperatures.

Patients that have symptoms do not receive therapy until they are cleared.

All employees are screened daily upon arrival at the center, including temperature monitoring. Those with symptoms are are asked to leave the clinic and undergo the required 14-day self-quarantine, not returning to the till they are cleared.

Masking: All Life In Motion PT staff, patients and visitors are required to universally masked and we before entry. Those without masks will be offered cloth masks for use in the clinic. There will be a “no mask, no entry” rule for our collective safety.

Continuous training with staff for consistency and periodic hygiene for both staff and the clinic: hand washing, sanitizer use, and thorough cleaning of clinic stations and equipment with CDC guideline approved cleaning/disinfecting agents.

We offer Telehealth PT to all patients who would prefer to be treated in the safety and comfort of their home.

We are monitoring our equipment and supplies to help protect and lower the risk of our potential exposure to COVID19.

We request that patients please limit the number of people who accompany you to your PT appointments, unless they are necessary for transportation or assistance. All of the procedures above will be required for all patient companions and visitors as well.

If for any reason you are not feeling well, please contact our clinic and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment.

We all can do our part to keep us all safe.  Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Avoid touching your face, eyes, nose or mouth. if you are sick, stay home. Cough or sneeze into your elbow or into a tissue, and discard in the trash bin.  Frequently clean or disinfect faucets, door knobs and other surfaces regularly touched.

Together, we can all help live the healthiest lives we can and minimize our collective risk.

We continue to develop and update our COVID19 precautions as updates based from the guideline publications of WHO, DHHS, CDC and local health departments release them. Please refer to this page for the latest updates and our operational procedures.
